Jeopardy Game:

After creating this game, I was very excited that I had created what I had felt was a fun, creative, yet challenging way for students to learn the material, prepare for exams or just to use as a mid unit review.  I felt very confident about the process of creating this game with PowerPoint and enjoyed generating the questions. This project also reminded that even the teacher needs to thoroughly understand the content in order to generate questions that the students would know very well, and to also create questions to challenge them. The use of technology in this project is really helpful for students because this provides an engaging education tool and encourages them to do well because they are competing with one another in two teams of students.

Poem reformatted in a Word Document:

After doing this project, I was reminded how the simplest things, such as formatting, in Microsoft Word can make a big difference for  making something appealing to students when it comes to something that could be incredibly boring to students such as poetry. Even though this could be considered an "older" form of technology, in my opinion it is still very helpful for teachers for things like poetry or English in general for those students who need to have a hard copy to use when they are kinesthetic learners or visual learners.

The NETS-S that this artifact meet are:
Facilitate and Inspire Student Learning and Creativity
-A: Promote, support and model creative and innovative thinking and inventiveness.
